Marathon, Here We Come!!

Super excited (and SCARED), we just registered to run the Walt Disney World Marathon in January 2015!!  Mellissa thought and thought of a momentous activity to celebrate her 40th birthday, and this seemed perfect!!  Hopefully these old knees will make it through!  We'll keep you posted on training progress, wish us luck!!

Seth's Best Race!

Seth and Mellissa ran a fun 5k at Venetian Bay in New Smyrna Beach today. This was a small race, just 97 runners, but Seth came in third in his age group and won a terrific medal!  Mellissa came in 73rd with a time of 37:54, and Seth was 74th with a time of 37:55.

Storm the Campus Complete!

We had a great run this morning at the Storm the Campus 10 miler at UCF.  It was a twisty turny course all over UCF (which Mellissa's knee is absolutely NOT happy about), but we had lovely weather that was perfect for it!   There were 230 total runners, and Mellissa came in 164 with a finish time of 1:54:06, Adam finished 199 with a time of 2:09:24, yet again killing our last race time by about 10 minutes.  Check out our race course and our finish line pic!
