Trek for Tech 2012

Hey all, check out some pictures from Seth's Trek for Tech this year.  This was a fundraiser for the school to raise money for technology equipment, the kids had to do laps and get pledges for each lap.  Our classes big runner was Joshua with 16 laps!

Seth came through his surgery just fine! Clearly everything is better with a popsicle!

New Music Alert!

This project is called Goldhouse, it is the new project of Grant Harris who was the brainchild of my absolutley fav band Breathe Electric. So sad BE is no more, but the new project looks just as awesome, totally check them out!!!

Surgery for Seth

Seth is having surgery on Monday. Both of his ears are completely blocked,
he is only hearing at 40 to 50% out of both. They are taking out his adenoids and putting tubes in to drain his ears. They are pretty sure that the blockage is the whole problem, and once we fix that his hearing will be back to 100%. Cross your fingers for us that all goes well!

Passafire was Awesome!

The Passafire show was pretty sweet, but I don't think we will be adding the Reggae circuit into our regular rotation. Those songs seem to be awful repetitive, and go on forever and ever. Do I love Ganja weed? Maybe, but you already asked like 5 times, get on with it already. Are they just too high and don't remember? Also, for the record, there is something icky about a white dude rocking knee length dreds. I will say that Passafire may have the hardest working roadie I have EVER seen, he was Johnny-on-the-spot setting up all the gear, he was busing drinks off the front of the stage, and when the bassist knocked over his mic stand in a flashy turn, he caught it before it hit the ground! History Revised

I was volunteering in Seth's class today, and they were working on a project for President's Day. They had to write a sentence saying what they know about Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. So I am helping my friend Wyatt with his, and I ask him, "What do you want to write about, what do you know about Abraham Lincoln?" He tells me, "Well, he saved the Earth in the great battle." I was like, huh? I ask him, "What great battle?" And he looks at me like I am dim and says, "You know, the great BATTLE." So that's what we wrote :)

Adam says he is probably confusing this with when Cyberlincoln saved the mole people. The history book people need to get on this, I totally missed this in History class!
