Last Run of the Series

Michelle and I wrapped up the Track Shack Running Series this morning at the Winter Park Road Race.  What a great Fanatic series this was!

Take That, Ft. Lauderdale!

After the terrible time Mellissa had last year at the Ft. Lauderdale Marathon, she just had to put herself through it again!  But this year, no injuries and she finished, even in the hot, hot sun!!  A little worry with water retention, and more blisters than any other human, but nothing broken and no hurty knees.  Hurray!

I did it!  And made it back to the room!

Baby Eliot Has Arrived!

Eliot Harris Waters was born this morning!  He weighed in at 7lb., 4oz. - baby, Matt and Mandi are all doing well!

Michelle and Mellissa had a great time today (as always) at the Ladies Track Shack 5k!

Second One Down!

Fabulous new PR at the Shark Bite half this morning!!  Sadly, our medals are caught in customs, but they will be received soon enough. Mellissa is all set for Ft. Lauderdale next month!

One Down, One to Go!

Mellissa had a great start to the weekend at the Track Shack Park Ave 5k!  Onto NSB tomorrow for the Shark Bite Half!

 

Happy Birthday Seth!

We had a great time for Seth's 11th birthday!  After the fun at the Inflatable 5k, we headed to Smokey Bones for bar-b-q and Pokeball cake!

 

 

 

Chicago, Here We Come!

Looks like we're headed back to Chicago for 2017!

Double Feature Weekend!

What a weekend for Mellissa!  On Saturday, she ran the Ed Root 10k in New Smyrna, with an awesome 2nd place in age group finish!

Horray for Second Place!

Then, hopped in the car and drove to St. Augustine, where Mellissa and Michelle ran the Diva Half Marathon.  No prizes, but Mellissa beat her half marathon PR by over a minute, not sure how those legs held out!

19.3 miles in 2 days, and still able to walk - not too bad!
